The interesting question is, what will that shift be? I can guess with almost perfect certainty that it will not be a shift to sixteenth century Reformational exegesis. The Reformation is old news and will remain in the position of having to defend itself against all the new fads and trends that come down the lane. But that is why we need apologetics, eh?
